Morgan Schneiderlin celebrates the start of the new year with his partner Camille Sold

Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to social media to wish his followers a happy new year after the Manchester United midfielder celebrated the start of 2017 with his girlfriend.

The French midfielder has found his first team opportunities at Old Trafford severely restricted this season following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the club’s new manager back in May.

Indeed, the midfielder is yet to start a game in the Premier League for Manchester United this season following Mourinho’s arrival.

His lack of playing time this season has inevitably led to speculation that he could be set to leave Old Trafford in search of regular first team football in the January transfer window.

Mourinho recently confirmed that Schneiderlin had asked to leave the Red Devils in the January window.

But despite the uncertainty about his future Schneiderlin seemed to be in high spirits as he celebrated the new year with his partner Camille Sold.
