Marcos Alonso and Pedro Rodriguez looked to be in high spirits at The O2 for the basketball on Thursday night

Marcos Alonso and Pedro Rodriguez headed to the NBA at The O2 on Thursday night as the Chelsea duo looked to switch off ahead of their trip to Leicester City on Saturday evening.

The Blues will be making the long trip to the defending Premier League champions on Saturday evening as Antonio Conte’s men look to make a return to winning ways.

Chelsea lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in their most-recent Premier League fixture after goals either side of half-time from Dele Alli.

The west London side are still five points clear of their closest rivals Liverpool in the title race after 20 games.

Pedro scored two goals in Chelsea’s 4-1 win against Peterborough United in the FA Cup third round at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

And the Spain international joined Chelsea defender Alonso at The O2 to watch the Denver Nuggets beat Indiana Pacers 140-112 in the NBA.

Alonso posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“At the #nbalondon tonight! With my wingman @_pedro17_ 🔝😜”
