Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reveal his delight at being back in action for Arsenal after their impressive 4-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.

The Germany playmaker was missing for most of the festive period after picking up a bout of flu but made his return to the starting line-up when the Gunners took on the Swans in South Wales.

Two own goals, plus strikes from Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez handed Arsenal all three points as they returned to winning ways in the Premier League.

And Ozil was clearly delighted to play his part in the win as he used his personal Instagram account to respond to the result.

Ozil posted the picture above from the game on the app and wrote the caption: “Yeees!! 👍😉 Picked up a non-dramatic away win with a clean sheet ⚽👌🏽 Good to be back in the @PremierLeague 😊 #YaGunnersYa #SCFCvAFC @arsenal”
