Michy Batshuayi has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea secure a 2-0 win over Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Diego Costa put the controversy surrounding the striker to one side as he scored the Blues’ opener from close range in first-half stoppage time.

Gary Cahill then added a second late on when he headed in Cesc Fabregas’ free-kick at Stamford Bridge to hand Antonio Conte’s men the three points.

The Belgian striker was a second-half substitute against the Tigers and the summer signing was clearly delighted to play his part in helping the Blues take all three points.

The forward posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Another 3 points and clean sheet today !! 🔵 congrats everyone #ChelseaSpirit #KTBFFH 👊”

Chelsea are now eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table after Arsenal moved up to second place in the race for the title this season.
