Nathan Ake has taken to social media to pay tribute to Bournemouth after he was recalled from his loan spell at the club by Chelsea.

Chelsea opted to bring the Dutchman back to Stamford Bridge early this month after Antonio Conte admitted that he had been extremely impressed by Ake’s performances for the Cherries this season.

Ake will now be hoping to earn a spot in the Chelsea first team in the second half of the campaign as the Blues look to try and lift the Premier League title.

The Dutchman re-joins Chelsea with the Blues flying high at the top of the Premier League table, having built a five-point lead over second-placed Liverpool.

And Ake showed his class with a touching message to Bournemouth and the club’s fans after his loan spell at the Premier League club.

Ake posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “I want to say thank you to all the fans at AFC Bournemouth, I really loved my time at the club and I have learned a lot here.

“I also want to say thank you to the manager, staff and players for all the support and l wish them the best for the rest of the season! 🍒”
