Philippe Coutinho takes to social media to celebrate Liverpool's 1-0 win over Plymouth in the FA Cup

Philippe Coutinho took to social media to pay tribute to Lucas Leiva after the Brazilian scored Liverpool’s winner in their 1-0 victory over Plymouth in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian midfielder headed home from a corner in the first half to hand the Reds the lead.

Divock Origi then missed the chance to make it 2-0 from the penalty spot late on but the Reds held on to book their place in the fourth round and set up a clash with Wolves at Anfield.

Coutinho started the game against Plymouth and was clearly thrilled to see his compatriot bag the winner for Jurgen Klopp’s men on Wednesday night.

Coutinho shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Luquitaaaaaaaaa 💪🏽🔴🔴”

Liverpool now turn their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and their home clash against Swansea City at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
