The Arsenal striker posts a selfie with his hat-trick ball after their 5-0 win against Southampton
Theo Walcott posed with his hat-trick ball after the striker helped Arsenal ease to a 5-0 win against Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round.
Danny Welbeck made the breakthrough in the first half as the Arsenal striker scored in the 15th minute to cap his return from a long-term knee injury.
The England striker made it 2-0 lead seven minutes later to put the north London side in control against the EFL Cup finalists.
Former Southampton forward Theo Walcott heaped further misery on his old employers with goals either side of half-time before completing his hat-trick in the 84th minute.
And the England striker was clearly pleased with his goal haul after he posed for a selfie with his hat-trick ball alongside another ex-Southampton man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after their 5-1 win.
Walcott posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“Hat trick ⚽ ⚽⚽ – on to next round !! #EmiratesFACup”
Arsenal are in second place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of current leaders Chelsea.
