The Manchester United striker gives his Instagram followers a fascinating glimpse into his mindset

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has outlined his primary objectives for 2017 as the Manchester United striker looks to build on his impressive start to life at Old Trafford.

The former Sweden international has scored 13 times and has made three assists in 19 Premier League appearances in the 2016-17 season so far after the centre-forward moved to Manchester United in a free transfer from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

In fact, only Chelsea striker Diego Costa has scored more Premier League gaols than the former Barcelona man despite initial concerns that the 35-year-old would struggle to adapt to the English top flight.

Ibrahimovic has also scored four goals in eight appearances in the Europa League and the League Cup to help Jose Mourinho’s progress into the latter stages of both competitions this term.

The Manchester United summer signing posted the above photo on his Instagram page and unveiled his targets for 2017:

“Work, focus, objectives just like every year in front of me for the last 15 years”
