Alexis Sanchez appeared to be deep in conversation with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as the Gunners trained at London Colney on Wednesday afternoon.

The Chile international hit the headlines at the weekend after the forward showed his displeasure at being substituted with 11 minutes to go in their 4-0 win against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Sanchez did get on the score sheet in south Wales as Arsenal moved back into the top four thanks to their landslide win against the Swans.

The 28-year-old is still facing an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium amid ongoing contract negotiations with Arsenal.

And Sanchez was photographed chatting with Wenger during Arsenal’s training session at London Colney on a sun-drenched Wednesday afternoon.

The Arsenal man did appear in better form as he trained with team-mates Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi ahead of the visit of Burnley at The Emirates on Sunday.
