Jose Mourinho unveils his new haircut as Manchester United manager eyes Wembley place

Jose Mourinho unveiled his new haircut ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Hull City in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final on Thursday night.

The Red Devils will be hoping to reach their first Wembley final under Mourinho as Manchester United look to capitalise on their 2-0 win in the first leg at Old Trafford.

Manchester United midfielders Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini scored second-half goals to secure a comfortable win against the Tigers.

The 20-time English champions are unbeaten in 17 games in all competitions since a 2-1 loss to Fenerbahce in the Europa League in November.

Mourinho faced the British media for the first time since his bold new haircut at his pre-match media conference ahead of their EFL Cup clash.

Asked about his new trim, Mourinho said:

“The haircut is a privilege because I’m the kind of guy who can do it and in a one month I have new hair, a new wig!” Mourinho quipped.

“It’s just a privilege. Some of you can’t do it!”
