Philippe Coutinho has committed his long-term future to Liverpool to end speculation about his future

Philippe Coutinho was all smiles with Jurgen Klopp after the midfielder put pen to paper on a new five-year deal with Liverpool.

The Brazil international ended speculation linking the Liverpool midfielder with a potential move to La Liga giants Barcelona.

Coutinho is reported to have put pen to paper on a long-term contract that will run until 2022 with the Anfield outfit.

The South American has recently returned to the Liverpool side after he recovered from an ankle injury earlier this month.

Coutinho has scored five goals and has made five assists in 14 games in the Premier League in the 2016-17 season.

Liverpool signed Coutinho in an £8.5m deal from Serie A giants Inter Milan in the 2013 January transfer window under Brendan Rodgers.

Here is a selection of the best photos as Coutinho committed his long-term future to the 18-time English champions.
