Arsene Wenger is snapped deep in chat with Sir Mo Farah during Arsenal's training session on Thursday afternoon

Sir Mo Farah paid a visit to Arsenal’s training ground on Thursday as Arsene Wenger prepared his players to face Preston North End in the FA Cup this weekend.

The Gunners returned to training at London Colney after their trilling 3-3 draw with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Lucas Perez and Olivier Giroud in the final 15 minutes.

Farah is a big Arsenal supporter and the four-time Olympic champion regularly gets involved in the social media debate surrounding the north London club during their Premier League games.

Wenger complained that his players suffered from tiredness at Bournemouth after the north London had just over 48 hours to recover from their 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day before facing the Cherries.

And perhaps Farah offered Wenger some advice on how improve the endurance levels in his Arsenal squad as the pair chatted during the club’s training session on Tuesday afternoon.
