Piers Morgan reacts to Aaron Ramsey’s display in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Preston

Piers Morgan has his say on Aaron Ramsey's performance during Arsenal's FA Cup clash with Preston North End

Piers Morgan was not at all impressed with Aaron Ramsey’s start to the game during Arsenal’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Preston North End on Saturday night.

The Wales midfielder featured from the start at Deepdale as the Gunners looked to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Arsenal fell behind in the seventh minute when Callum Robinson slotted home from close range to put the home side ahead.

And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan was clearly not impressed by what he was seeing from his team, and especially midfielder Ramsey.

Morgan tweeted:

Ramsey went some way towards quietening Morgan after the break when he drilled home Arsenal’s equaliser in the 47th minute.

And the former Daily Mirror editor added after the equaliser:

And Olivier Giroud had the final say in the 90th minute when he smashed home Lucas Perez’s backheel to book the Gunners’ place in the fourth round.

Arsenal will now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their trip to Swansea City next Saturday.
