Piers Morgan slams Arsenal fans about Arsene Wenger after 3-3 draw at Bournemouth

The celebrity Arsenal supporter isn't happy with his own fans after Tuesday's 3-3 draw at Bournemouth

Piers Morgan has questioned why Arsenal didn’t move to appoint Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp or Jose Mourinho in 2015 after Arsene Wenger’s side drew 3-3 at Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

The Gunners were looking to move to within a point of second-placed Liverpool after the Reds drew 2-2 with Premier League strugglers Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Monday afternoon.

However, Wenger’s side were behind inside 16 minutes after Charlie Daniels managed to evade Spain full-back Hector Bellerin before the left-back fired past Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Things got worse for the north London before half-time when summer signing Granit Xhaka was adjudged to have brought down Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson extended their lead from the penalty spot.

The Scotland international got on the score sheet 12 minutes into the second half before Alexis Sanchez’s close-range header and Lucas Perez’s volley offered hope of a late comeback.

Remarkably, Olivier Giroud rescued a point in added time thanks to a close-range header to continue his goal-scoring run but Wenger’s men were unable to net a late winner.

Outspoken Morgan took to Twitter to vent his anger that Arsenal didn’t appoint Guardiola, Klopp or Mourinho when the Gunners had the chance.

However, the celebrity Gunners fan then changed his tune somewhat after the comeback was complete.
