PSG urge Alexis Sanchez to continue Arsenal stand-off – report

Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to swoop for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez amid stalled contract talks, say reports

Paris Saint-Germain want Alexis Sanchez to continue his contract stand-off with Arsenal ahead of a proposed move to the French capital in the summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror are reporting that the Ligue 1 side are hoping to capitalise on Sanchez’s uncertain future at the north London club and are ready to make a big-money offer in the summer transfer window.

The same article states that PSG sporting director and former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert is a huge admirer of the Chile international and is hoping to bring the forward to Parc des Princes.

The Daily Mirror report that PSG have already been in contract with Sanchez’s agents and have urged the forward to extend the stand-off in the hope of luring the Arsenal man to Paris.

Sanchez has scored 13 times in 20 appearances in the Premier League this season but despite his best efforts Arsenal are in fifth place in the table and eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
