Pundit issues blunt warning to Paul Pogba about his Man United future

Paul Pogba is at risk of following in the footsteps of Memphis Depay and becoming a Manchester United flop, according to Ruud Gullit.
The France international has made a decent start to life back at Old Trafford following his world-record transfer back to the club from Juventus in the summer.
The midfielder will inevitably be under pressure to perform on a regular basis for the Red Devils following his big-money return to the club.
Depay’s Manchester United career failed to take off following his transfer to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015.
The Dutchman was eventually sold to French side Lyon last week after he failed to hold down a regular spot in the Manchester United team last term.
And Gullit has warned Pogba that he could go the same way as Depay if he does not focus on improving his game at Old Trafford.
Gullit is quoted as saying by Metro: “Paul Pogba is going through the same thing at United as Memphis Depay.
“He may be the most expensive player in the world, but that does not count if he is spending more time on his dress style, the colours in his hair and his social media.
“Paul should ask Memphis – and he will realise that being successful and reaching top level in England is only possible if you perform every week and if you dedicate everything to your career.
“Memphis was heavily criticised because he found it more important to pimp his image than improve his football. He should have known that stuff on the pitch goes before anything.
“Pogba will also get the wrath of the fans. People will start to moan and have a go at him.
“Even for the biggest football stars in the world there is a big rule: Playing well for your club comes first, don’t let all the other stuff catch the limelight. That is my advice.”
