Ray Parlour states prediction for Liverpool v Swansea

The Arsenal legend can't see past a Liverpool win at Anfield on Saturday evening

Ray Parlour is tipping Liverpool to secure victory over Swansea City in their Premier League clash at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds were 1-0 winners against League Two side Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday night thanks to Lucas Leiva’s first-half winner to set up a fourth-round clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Liverpool’s narrow triumph in the third-round replay was their first win in all competitions since a 1-0 victory over title rivals Manchester City at Anfield on New Year’s Eve.

Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s side have drawn with Sunderland and Manchester United in their last two Premier League games to leave the Merseyside outfit in third place and seven points behind leaders Chelsea.

Swansea, on the other hand, have lost five of their last six games in the Premier League despite the appointment of new manager Paul Clement.

Speaking to the Alan Brazil podcast, Parlour backed Liverpool to secure three points at home against the Swans in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League.

“Liverpool will win that one,” said Parlour.
