David De Gea states his prediction for Stoke v Man United

David De Gea looks ahead to Manchester United's clash with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday

David De Gea has warned his Manchester United team-mates that they will need to be at their best if they want to beat Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend.

Manchester United are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind leaders Chelsea heading into this weekend’s round of games.

And De Gea feels that the Red Devils will have to prove themselves to be at their best against Stoke this weekend as they bid to get their top-four bid back on track.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, De Gea said: “Stoke is a tough game and a tough place to go.

“It’s windy, it’s a war and it’s always difficult.

“But we need to go there with confidence and try to play our best football and win.”
