Thierry Henry delivers verdict on Man United’s top-four prospects

The Arsenal legend has his say on Manchester United's prospects in the top four

Thierry Henry believes Manchester United are good enough to finish in the Premier League’s top four this season.

The Red Devils came from behind to rescue a 1-1 draw with top-four rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors made the breakthrough in the first half after James Milner scored from the penalty spot after Paul Pogba handled the ball in the area.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic managed to salvage a point for the Red Devils after the 34-year-old nodded past Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Jose Mourinho’s side are in sixth place and four points behind Arsenal, who currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spots.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Monday night, former Arsenal striker Henry delivered his verdict on the Manchester outfit’s top-four prospects.

“The two Manchester teams are struggling for the title but they are still well in the race for the top four,” Henry said.

“Man United look like a team that can be in the top four. But if you put them in, who’s going to come out? It’s going to be a very interesting one.”

Manchester United finished in fifth place in the Premier League table under Louis van Gaal which led to the Dutch coach’s dismissal and Mourinho’s appointment.
