Thierry Henry issues warning to Tottenham rivals about this player

Thierry Henry says Harry Kane will be very difficult to stop when he clicks into gear with Tottenham this season

Thierry Henry believes that Harry Kane could be very difficult to stop this season following his sparkling form for Tottenham.

Kane underlined his status as one of the Premier League’s top strikers on Saturday when he scored a hat-trick in Spurs’ 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane.

The England striker made a slow start to the campaign but has earned plenty of praise for his performances in recent weeks and has already scored 13 goals in the top flight this term.

And Henry believes that Kane will take some stopping in the coming weeks and months as he looks to help fire Tottenham to a title challenge.

Speaking to Sky Sports after Tottenham’s 4-0 win over West Brom on Saturday, Henry said: “He had a slow start but when that guy is in tune, it’s very difficult to stop him.

“When that guy is on a run – we saw it last year – be careful.”
