Tottenham determined to keep star midfielder amid Real Madrid interest – report

Tottenham Hotspur won't consider any offers for Dele Alli amid reported interest from Real Madrid, according to the British media

Tottenham Hotspur are determined to keep Dele Alli despite interest from Real Madrid, according to reports in the British media.

Sky Sports are reporting that Spurs won’t consider any offers for the England international regardless of the price after speculation suggested that Real Madrid were keen to sign the attacking midfielder.

The same article states that Real Madrid have been monitoring Alli throughout the 2016-17 Premier League campaign but los Blancos will have to wait until the summer due to their transfer ban.

Alli has been in impressive form in his second season in the Premier League after the 21-year-old scooped the PFA young player of the year award for his performances in his first campaign in the English top flight.

The Tottenham playmaker has scored eight goals and has made one assist in 17 Premier League appearances this season to help Mauricio Pochettino’s side keep their slim title hopes alive.

The Lilywhites haven’t won the Premier League title since the division was established in 1992-93.
