Antonio Conte states his prediction for Tottenham v Chelsea

Antonio Conte looks ahead to Chelsea's crunch clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night

Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea players that they are in for a stern test of their Premier League title credentials when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

The Blues head into the game looking to make it a staggering 14 Premier League wins on the bounce after their brilliant run under new boss Conte.

Chelsea were 4-2 winners over Stoke City at Stamford Bridge last weekend and have been firmly established as the favourites to win the Premier League title following their brilliant form.

Tottenham, however, have been in good form themselves and were 4-1 winners over Watford on Sunday afternoon.

And Conte has warned his Chelsea players that they must prepare for a very tough game when they travel to north London on Wednesday night.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website before the game, Conte said: “Tottenham is another challenge, another type of football to face.

“They like to play from the back, they like to put a lot of pressure on when you are in possession. We have to prepare very well because this game will be very tough, for us and for them.

“Tottenham are a great team. Last season they could have won the title, and this season they have a stronger team. For sure we will see a good game.

“We only have three days to prepare for this game, but we also have a lot of work we did in the past and we need that in this moment because we haven’t a lot of time to find a solution for this game.”
