Michael Owen states his prediction for Tottenham v Chelsea
Michael Owen looks ahead to Tottenham's clash with Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday
Michael Owen has admitted that he is struggling to pick a winner between Tottenham and Chelsea in the Premier League at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
The Blues head into the game in fine form and having won their last 13 games on the spin in the Premier League to leave Antonio Conte’s men flying high at the top of the table.
The west London side have firmly established themselves as the favourites to win the Premier League title this season following their brilliant form in the top flight under their new boss.
However, Chelsea are now preparing for a stern test of their title credentials when they take on Spurs at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen is expecting to see both teams score in north London but refused to pick a winner of the game.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “The final Premier League game of the Festive period could turn out to be the best with the possibility that the Blues could equal Arsenal’s long-standing record for the number of Premier League wins on the spin (14) if they win at White Hart Lane.
“This is a game just too close to call although I do expect to see goals in a game which I expect to see played in a white-hot atmosphere.”
