Thierry Henry states his prediction for Tottenham v Chelsea
Thierry Henry looks ahead to Tottenham's clash with Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday night
Thierry Henry is tipping Tottenham’s clash with Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night to be a special Premier League encounter.
The Blues head into the game looking to continue their fine run in the Premier League after having won their last 13 games on the trot in the top flight.
That run of form has placed the Blues as the firm favourites to lift the Premier League trophy this season, with Chelsea currently five points clear at the top of the table.
Tottenham, however, have been in good form themselves and head into the game fresh from their 4-1 win over Watford in the top flight on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal legend Henry is expecting a thrilling encounter when the Blues take on Spurs at White Hart Lane tonight.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Tuesday night, Henry said: “Everyone is talking about the winning record but I think what they want is the title. It doesn’t matter how they’re going to reach it.
“What they need to do on Wednesday is win at White Hart Lane and that won’t be easy.
“We all know that Tottenham is going to try and ‘erase’ what happened last year at Stamford Bridge. Everybody remembers that game so I think tomorrow is going to be a special game.”
Chelsea’s good form is in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up 10th and without a trophy.
