Michael Owen states his prediction for Tottenham v West Brom
Michael Owen looks ahead to Tottenham's Premier League clash with West Brom on Saturday
Michael Owen is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to continue their fine form in the Premier League by beating West Brom at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime.
The Lilywhites head into the game flying high after their 2-0 win over Chelsea in their most recent top flight outing.
Spurs’ win over Chelsea halted the Blues’ impressive 13-game winning run and hoisted Mauricio Pochettino’s men up to third place in the Premier League table.
The north London side will be hoping to continue their good form when they host the Baggies at White Hart Lane this weekend.
And former Liverpool striker Owen is fully expecting to see Spurs claim all three points against West Brom in north London.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Spurs, surprisingly, have won only one of their last seven Premier League games against West Brom but they have scored two or more goals in their last six games and I expect them to extend their winning run to seven in all competitions at the weekend.”
Tottenham finished third and without a trophy last season despite being Leicester City’s closest challengers for the title for most of the campaign.
The Lilywhites were knocked out of the Champions League group stage in December.
