Ray Parlour states prediction for Tottenham v West Brom
The former Arsenal midfielder can't see past a Tottenham win on Saturday afternoon
Ray Parlour believes Tottenham Hotspur will have too much for West Brom at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The north London side were 2-0 winners against Premier League leaders Chelsea in their last top-flight fixture at The Lane thanks to goals either side of half-time from Dele Alli.
Tottenham hoisted themselves above Arsenal and Manchester City thanks to their victory over Antonio Conte’s side, leaving Spurs in third place and seven points adrift of the Blues.
The Baggies have produced valiant performances at Arsenal and Chelsea in recent weeks and caused the London duo problems despite ultimately leaving the English capital empty handed.
Speaking on the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast ahead of Spurs’s home clash against the Baggies, ex-Arsenal midfielder Parlour backed Mauricio Pochettino’s side to secure three points.
“I’ve got Spurs to win this one. I think West Brom will go with the exact same tactics as they did against Chelsea. They’re very hard to beat,” said Parlour.
“It will be difficult but Tottenham are playing so well at the moment.”
Tottenham have notched up five successive Premier League victories ahead of the visit of Tony Pulis’s West Brom side.
Spurs finished in third place in the Premier League table last term.
