Watch: Chelsea starlet welcomes Nathan Ake back to Cobham for training

Nathan Ake is back at Chelsea and ready to fight for his first-team place at Stamford Bridge

Nathaniel Chalobah has taken to social media to reveal his delight at welcoming Nathan Ake back to Chelsea this week.

The Dutchman reported to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground this week after Antonio Conte opted to recall the defender back to the club from his loan spell at Bournemouth early.

Ake had been catching the eye with a number of impressive performances for Eddie Howe’s men this season and his displays clearly did not go unnoticed by the Chelsea boss.

The news of Ake’s return was confirmed last week and Chelsea youngster Chalobah was quick to take to social media to welcome his team-mate back to Stamford Bridge.

He shared the video above on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday morning as he welcomed the Dutchman back to Cobham.
