Watch: Man United’s forgotten man sends transfer message to Jose Mourinho

Morgan Schneiderlin is determined to make sure that he is as fit as possible if he seals a transfer away from Manchester United

Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to social media to reveal that he is undergoing additional fitness training as he bids to secure a January transfer away from Manchester United.

The French midfielder’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks after Jose Mourinho confirmed last month that the player had asked to leave Old Trafford.

Schneiderlin is clearly keen to gain some regular playing time after having his first-team opportunities at Old Trafford severely restricted this season.

The France international has not started a single game for Manchester United this season and his last appearance for the Red Devils came during the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford back in November.

It remains to be seen whether Schneiderlin will be successful in sealing a transfer away from the Red Devils this January.

However, the 27-year-old is clearly determined to make sure that he is in the best physical shape heading into the new year.

He posted the training video above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Working hard with @fabienrichardconsulting 💪🏼💪🏼👊🏼👊🏼”
