Arsene Wenger looked to be in good spirits as Arsenal confirmed the signing of left-back Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town on Tuesday afternoon.

The 20-year-old had been linked with a move to The Emirates and put pen do paper on a contract with the Gunners on Tuesday.

The defender impressed Arsenal officials on a recent trial with the club and will join up with Steve Gatting and the Gunners’ under-23s squad.

The youngster came through non-league football and played with Market Drayton last season.

Arsenal confirmed the signing via a post on the club’s official Instagram account, posting the video above and writing the caption: “Welcome to #Arsenal @cohen_bramall”

The north London side are currently preparing for their Premier League trip to Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners were held to a 3-3 draw by Bournemouth in their most recent Premier League game last week.
