Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals that he is determined to help Manchester United win the Premier League title
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he is determined to help Manchester United win the Premier League title following his arrival at the club in the summer.
The 35-year-old forward has earned plenty of praise for the impact he has had at Old Trafford following his summer move to the club from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
There had been concerns that Ibrahimovic may have struggled to adapt to the rigours of English football given that he is in the twilight years of his career.
However, the veteran forward has proved himself as more than capable and has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United team this season.
Ibrahimovic has scored 13 goals and made three assists in 13 Premier League games for the Red Devils so far this season.
And as Manchester United prepare for their showdown with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, Ibrahimovic has outlined lifting the Premier League trophy as his main target with the Red Devils.
Speaking to Manchester United’s website, Ibrahimovic said: “I’m chasing the head trophy – the Premier League. That is my aim.
“The individual things come as part of the main objective because that is like a bonus for every individual player.”
