The Spanish midfielder is a firm favourite among Manchester United fans and has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils’ team so far this season.
Herrera has made more than 20 appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils so far this season as he bids to help Manchester United claw their way back into the top four this season.
Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
And Herrera has spoken of his pride at what he has achieved at Manchester United thus far following his transfer to the club from Athletic Bilbao back in the summer of 2014.
Speaking in an interview with United Review, Herrera said: “I think it’s fantastic to play for the biggest club in England over 100 times,” he told United Review. “I think it’s a great achievement and I’m so happy for that.
“Maybe now is the time I am enjoying the most. I’m so happy but I don’t want to stop around 100. I want to keep playing with this club, try to have a fantastic season and try to win titles because that is what this club is about.”
Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season.
