Ian Wright has taken to social media to admit that he wishes Arsenal were able to sign N’Golo Kante before Chelsea.

Kante has earned plenty of praise for his superb performances for Chelsea since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

The French midfielder earned plenty of admirers for his brilliant displays for the Foxes last season as they won the Premier League title.

And the midfielder has continued his brilliant displays for Chelsea this season to help the Blues build a nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was recently quoted as saying that he tried to sign Kante before his transfer to Chelsea.

And Wright has accused Wenger of not trying hard enough to push a deal through.

The Arsenal legend posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “What can you say about this man😱.

“Lost his virginity at 14 and won it back 😂😂😂.

“Wenger tried to sign him twice! Didn’t try hard enough. 😢”
