Chelsea could make a £75m bid for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror are claiming that Aguero is not satisfied with his role under new boss Pep Guardiola at The Etihad and that Chelsea are ready to rival Real Madrid in the race to sign the forward in the summer.

The same report states that the arrival of Gabriel Jesus in the January transfer window has aded further uncertainty to Aguero’s future at Manchester City.

It also claims that Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Aguero, but that Chelsea would be willing to rival the Spanish giants for his signature should he decide to want to quit The Etihad.

Chelsea are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are the heavy favourites to win the title this season.
