Chelsea lining up move for first summer signing – report

Chelsea could make Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi their first summer signing, according to reports

Chelsea are lining up a summer transfer bid for Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi, according to reports.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that the Blues have been keeping tabs on the winger in recent weeks ahead of a possible summer swoop for the 22-year-old.

Chelsea were linked with a bid for the attacker in the January transfer window but a move failed to materialise, and the story now claims that the Blues will revive their interest in the player at the end of the season.

Bernardeschi has made 30 appearances in all competitions for Fiorentina this season and it was Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who gave him his international debut last year.

Chelsea are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and should have no problems in attracting some of Europe’s top talent in the summer.
