Michael Owen is backing Chelsea to all but end Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes by beating the Gunners in Saturday’s crunch clash at Stamford Bridge.

Arsene Wenger’s men head into the game looking to get back to winning ways in the top flight in the wake of their shock 2-1 loss to Watford at The Emirates in midweek.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are currently nine points ahead of the Gunners.

The Blues, however, are also looking to get back to winning ways after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.

A defeat for Arsenal would leave them 12 points behind Antonio Conte’s men and with it all to do in the race for the title.

And former Liverpool man Owen is expecting to see Chelsea claim all three points at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Arsenal won the reverse fixture at the Emirates 3-0 earlier in the season and the last time they did the double over Chelsea (2003-04) was the last time they won the Premier League!

“A win for the Gunners would breathe new life into the title race but they haven’t scored a goal at the Bridge in over four years in the Premier League and I can’t see past another home win for the Blues.”
