David De Gea has admitted that Chelsea already have one hand on the Premier League trophy this season.

The Blues have been the Premier League’s standout team this season and the west London club are currently leading the way at the top of the table.

The west London side’s remarkable upturn in form this season has been stark contrast to their struggles last term, when they ended up 10th in the table and without a trophy.

Antonio Conte has made a huge impact at Stamford Bridge and watched his side secure an impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal last weekend.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have been struggling to find consistent form this season and currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League table, 14 points behind the leaders.

And goalkeeper De Gea admits that he has been impressed by what he has seen from the Blues this season.

The Manchester United goalkeeper told AS: “The truth is that they [Chelsea] have it very well.

“They are nine points above second and they have the title in their hands.
