Eden Hazard discusses Arsenal and Man United threats
Eden Hazard believes that Arsenal and Manchester United are Chelsea's biggest threats in the race for the title
Eden Hazard has singled out Arsenal and Manchester United as Chelsea’s biggest threats in the Premier League title race this season.
The Blues are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and have established themselves as the firm favourites to win the title this season after having build a nine point lead on their rivals.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are currently licking their wounds in the wake of their 2-1 loss to Watford on Tuesday night.
The Gunners are gearing up for their crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime as they look to close the gap to the leaders down to six points with a victory.
Tottenham are currently second and nine points behind the Blues.
However, Blues playmaker Hazard feels that Manchester United and Arsenal are their closest rivals in the race for the title this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Hazard said: “I think Arsenal and Manchester United [are the biggest title rivals].
“United had a bad first part of the season and I think for a couple of games now, they played well. They drew against Stoke, but they have good players and the squad is very good. The manager is good, so they will be second or third.
“Tottenham also are strong. We lost there, but for me it is more Manchester United. They are more experienced. That is my opinion, maybe I’m wrong.”
Chelsea are currently priced as the 3/10 favourites to win the title with most bookmakers, ahead of Tottenham at 9/1 and Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City at 16/1.
