Eden Hazard says he is targeting his own goal-scoring record with Chelsea this season.

The Belgian playmaker has been in superb form for Chelsea this season and continued his fine displays with a man of the match showing in the Blues’ 3-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea are flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are the firm favourites to win the title this season.

Hazard has been in spectacular form this term and has already netted 10 goals in the Premier League for Antonio Conte’s side, notching up three assists.

The 26-year-old scored 14 goals to help Chelsea win the title in the 2014-15 season under Jose Mourinho.

And the Belgium international has revealed that he is hoping to break that record this season under his new manager.

Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “Two years ago I was on fire but I can score more goals this season.

“I already have 10. Two years ago I finished with 14.

“We have a lot of games to play, so we will see.”
