Gary Lineker reacts to Harry Kane breaking his Tottenham record

The former Spurs striker feigned anger after Harry Kane sailed past his hat-trick tally for Tottenham

Gary Lineker managed to see the funny side of Harry Kane breaking one of the Tottenham Hotspur legend’s feats in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The England international continued his fine goal-scoring form in the 2016-17 season with a hat-trick in Tottenham’s 3-0 win against Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Kane has now scored more hat-tricks than Lineker in a Tottenham shirt despite being in the relative infancy of his White Hart Lane career at the age of 23.

The Tottenham striker’s fifth hat-trick for the north London side secured their place in the FA Cup quarter-final draw.

The Match Of The Day host took to Twitter to react to Kane’s treble at Craven Cottage which ended Tottenham’s two-game losing run in all competitions.

Tottenham are in third place in the Premier League table but five points adrift of current leaders Chelsea with 13 games to play.

Spurs lost to Liverpool and Genk in their last two games before Tottenham’s 3-0 win at Fulham.
