Gary Lineker reacts to Harry Kane’s hat-trick in Tottenham’s 3-0 win at Fulham in FA Cup
The former Spurs striker hailed Harry Kane's finishing ability after his FA Cup hat-trick against Fulham
Gary Lineker was quick to take to Twitter to heap praise on Harry Kane after the Tottenham Hotspur striker’s hat-trick in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round.
The England international has been in prolific form in the 2016-17 Premier League campaign despite an injury setback earlier this term after a return of 14 goals in 20 games.
Mauricio Pochettino opted to field a strong side for Tottenham’s trip across London in the FA Cup after successive defeats by Liverpool and Genk over the past seven days.
And Kane broke the deadlock in the first half before the 23-year-old scored twice after half-time to book the north London side’s place in the FA Cup quarter-final draw.
Lineker, who was a prolific goal-scorer like Kane, singled out of the Tottenham striker’s best attributes as the Match Of The Day host gushed with praise for the England star.
Some strikers you know will score when they're one-on-one with the keeper. Others you know will miss. @HKane is most certainly the former.
