Henrikh Mkhitaryan has brought Zlatan Ibrahimovic down to earth following his first few months of working with the striker at Manchester United.

The Swedish forward has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United first team since his arrival at the club from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer window.

Ibrahimovic has hit the ground running and has already scored more than 10 goals in all competitions for Jose Mourinho’s men so far this term.

The 35-year-old is known as a big personality in the dressing room and seems to have slotted in seamlessly to life at Old Trafford.

However, fellow summer signing Mkhitaryan has lifted the lid on what it is like being one of Ibrahimovic’s team-mates.

Mkhitaryan told Sky Sports News HQ ahead of Sunday’s clash with Leicester: “Everyone knows that he likes to be the God, but he’s not. I mean, he has a very good personality, he’s a great guy.

“Not only him, everyone… even Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, the players who are here for a very long time. They are very polite, they are very humble, so you can always learn something from them.”

Mkhitaryan joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window and appears to have found his feet in England after a stuttering start to life at Old Trafford.
