Michael Owen is expecting to see plenty of goals when Liverpool travel to Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Liverpool have struggled to find consistent form in the Premier League since the turn of the year and have not won a top-flight game since their victory over Manchester City on New Year’s Eve.

Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, and former Liverpool man Owen is expecting to see a high-scoring game between the two sides.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, former Liverpool striker Owen said: “Hull have won their last two Premier League home games against Liverpool and they have certainly improved in recent weeks with new manager Marco Silva impressing many within the game.

“Given four home games in less than a fortnight it might, surprisingly perhaps, suit Liverpool to be back on the road with their pace and power on the break. I expect to see goals at the KCOM Stadium.”
