Jermaine Jenas reacts to midfielder’s display in Tottenham’s 3-0 win at Fulham in FA Cup
The ex-Tottenham midfielder was impressed with Harry Winks in Sunday's 3-0 win at Fulham
Jermaine Jenas singled out Harry Winks for praise after the youngster impressed in Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 win against Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday afternoon.
Winks has been given a chance to shine in the cup competition this season after completing 90 minutes against Aston Villa and Wycombe Wanderers in the previous two rounds.
Harry Kane scored a 47-minute hat-trick to help Tottenham ease to a comfortable win against their London rivals Fulham and secure their place in the quarter-final draw at Craven Cottage.
While the England striker secured most of the plaudits for his goal-scoring heroics, Jenas preferred to pick out Winks in his analysis on Twitter as Mauricio Pochettino’s men edged one step closer to Wembley.
Another top performance from @HarryWinks today 👌🏾
