Jose Mourinho reveals Man United’s summer transfer plans
Jose Mourinho says Manchester United's summer transfer business is likely to be "quite small"
Jose Mourinho has revealed that Manchester United’s summer transfer activity will be “quite small”.
The Red Devils were one of the Premier League’s biggest spending clubs last summer as they brought the likes of Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford.
There is bound to be plenty of speculation linking Manchester United with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is one name to have regularly been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
However, Mourinho has moved to play down the chances of Manchester United making wholesale changes in the summer transfer window.
Asked about his plans for the summer, Mourinho told a news conference at Manchester United’s training ground on Friday afternoon: “Everything is balanced and I think our summer [activity] will be quite small.”
The Red Devils are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
