The Blues have been the clear standout performers in the Premier League this season following their sparkling displays in the top flight under new boss Antonio Conte.
Chelsea have built a nine-point lead at the top of the table and are the heavy favourites to win the title this season.
The west London side are also aiming to win the FA Cup in Conte’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
And Zouma has described the air of positivity currently at Stamford Bridge following Chelsea’s brilliant form in recent weeks.
Speaking to The Sun, Zouma said: “The team is doing very well and we have big momentum.
“Everything is going well and watching them makes me so happy.
“OK, I want to play but there is still a long way to go.
“If we keep winning our games then maybe the manager will change the team a bit.
“The FA Cup is another big target this season so I always need to be ready.
“We all know last season was bad for Chelsea because we thought things were going to be easy.
“We have almost the same team which won the league two years ago, but now we are mentally stronger.
“Physically and tactically we are prepared for everything.”
Chelsea are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Burnley on Sunday as they look to take another step towards winning the Premier League title.
The Blues finished 10th and without a trophy last season in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s sacking.
