The Gunners midfielder was forced off at half-time of Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Non League side Sutton United in the FA Cup fifth round earlier this month.
Elneny was reported to have injured his ankle during the cup tie as the Gunners set up a quarter-final meeting with Non League outfit Lincoln City at the Emirates Stadium next month.
However, the Egypt international prompted fears when he posted the below snap on his Twitter page with his ankle in a protective cask.

The Arsenal midfielder still appears to be able to exert the ankle despite wearing a protective cask after he posted the above clip of a arms and shoulders session.
Elneny wrote the following caption: “💪💪💪”
The Gunners have already lost Spain international Santi Cazorla to a long-term ankle problem.
