Marcus Rashford has revealed that learning how Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s mentality works has been one of the key lessons he has taken from playing with the Manchester United striker.

The Swedish forward has been in superb form for the Red Devils following his arrival at Old Trafford on a free transfer last summer.

Ibrahimovic scored his 20th goal in all competitions for Manchester United last weekend when he helped Jose Mourinho’s men claim a 3-0 win at Leicester City.

Rashford has been benefitting by playing and training alongside one of Europe’s most experienced strikers at Old Trafford.

And the teenage forward has revealed the key lessons he has learned from lining up with Ibrahimovic on a regular basis.

Asked the main thing he has learnt from Ibrahimovic, Rashford said: “I think it’s the way his mentality works.

“That is probably the biggest thing, not only for the young players but other players can take that from him as well. In fact, that is definitely the main thing.”

Both strikers will be hoping to feature when Manchester United return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Watford.
