Martin Keown has told Mesut Ozil that he can make the difference for Arsenal against Chelsea on Saturday.

The north London side head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the bitter disappointment of their 2-1 loss to Watford at The Emirates in midweek.

Arsenal need to beat Chelsea on Sunday to keep alive their hopes of winning the title next season and the Gunners head into the game nine points behind the Blues in the table.

Arsenal legend Keown feels that Ozil could hold the key for the Gunners as they look to claw themselves back into contention in the race for the Premier League title.

Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, Keown said: “Mesut Ozil will be key to this game. He needs to get back into the team’s shape much earlier than he does when Arsenal lose the ball and work harder to recover it.

“He only needs to make a 10 per cent improvement and if he does this, Arsenal can seriously test Chelsea.”

Arsenal were 3-0 winners over Chelsea when the two teams last met at The Emirates back in September.
