N’Golo Kante has warned Chelsea not to rest on their laurels after their 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday underlined their status as the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

The Blues were in superb form against the Gunners as goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas wrapped up a comfortable win for Antonio Conte’s men.

Chelsea are now nine points clear at the top of the table after having established themselves as the favourites to win the title.

The west London side are currently gearing up for their crunch clash against Burnley at Turf Moor next weekend as they look to take a step closer towards winning the title.

However, despite Chelsea’s dominant form in recent months, Kante has insisted that he and his team-mates are not taking anything for granted in the race for the title.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website after Saturday’s win, Kante said: “Every season is different – this season, there are a lot of competitors for the title and there is still a long way to go.

“We can’t say we are close to the title, we just have to fight for every game.

“It’s not finished and a lot of things can happen. It was an important week for us with Liverpool and Arsenal, we took four points out of six, and this was a good win for us.”
