The Blues underlined their status as the favourites to win the top-flight crown this season with a thumping win over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.
Goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas secured the three points for Antonio Conte’s men and left them flying high at the top of the Premier League table.
Chelsea’s remarkable upturn in form this season has been in stark contrast to their struggles last term, when they ended up 10th in the table and without a trophy.
However, Kante has warned his team-mates that they must show consistency until the end of the season if they want to lift the trophy in May.
Speaking to BBC Sport after Saturday’s win, Kante said: “It wasn’t the best we have played but it was important for us.
“The title is not finished, a lot of things could happen.
“When I was in France I just wanted to achieve the ambition of staying in French Ligue 1.
“I didn’t expect to one day win a title.
“Last year what we [Leicester] did was amazing, this year we have not won anything.”
Chelsea now turn their attentions towards their Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor next weekend.
